International Business School is delighted to announce that our Rector Dr László Láng has been awarded an honorary doctorate by The University of Buckingham, a rare and prestigious honor for a head of a Hungarian institution.

Each year, the University of Buckingham bestows a select number of honorary doctorates upon individuals who have made exceptional contributions to academic life, the arts, public service, or international affairs. Following careful consideration by a joint committee of Council and Senate members, it was unanimously decided to offer our Rector this distinguished accolade.

The honorary doctorate, which carries the title of Doctor of Science, honoris causa, was presented at one of the University of Buckingham's Graduation Ceremonies held on March 16, 2024, at the historic Church of St Peter & St Paul in Buckingham.

This recognition is a testament to our Rector's outstanding leadership and contributions to academia, as well as to the strong partnership between International Business School Budapest and The University of Buckingham.
