We are currently looking to fill the following position:

Admissions Officer

Type of contract: Full-time employment

Location: 1031 Budapest, Záhony utca 7, Graphisoft Park

Description of the position:

As an Admissions Officer, you will play a key role in recruiting and guiding prospective students, both Hungarian and international, through the admissions process. You will assess applications, provide information to applicants, and represent the school at recruitment events, both locally and internationally. The ideal candidate will be personable, organized, and passionate about higher education.

Key responsibilities include:

  • To process and manage admissions applications,
  • Act as the primary point of contact for prospective Hungarian and international students, answering queries via email, phone, and in-person meetings,
  • Provide detailed information about the school’s programmes, admissions requirements, and application procedures,
  • Assist international students with visa-related queries and guide them through the specific requirements of studying abroad.
  • Organize and participate in recruitment fairs, open days, and virtual events to promote the institution and attract a diverse student body,
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and academic departments to promote the school’s programmes and ensure that accurate, up-to-date information is provided to prospective students.

Qualifications and Person Specification:

  • Bachelors’ degree,
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) in Hungarian and English, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner,
  • Experience of supporting and advising people using face-to-face and online platforms,
  • The ability to support people with different cultural backgrounds, languages, and levels of spoken English,
  • Demonstrable administrative experience using Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet and databases,
  • Ability to work on own initiative, under pressure and meet deadlines, with excellent organisational skills.
