The Centre for Education and Research (CER) at the Budapest campus of IBS International Business School is seeking an administrative assistant on a part-time or full-time basis.
Founded in 1991, IBS is a state-recognised, leading private higher education institution offering a range of undergraduate, master’s and doctoral programmes in the fields of business and social sciences, accredited in both Hungary and the United Kingdom.

Main responsibilities
- Supporting and preparing for the day-to-day administrative tasks of the Centre for Education and Research
- Managing dissertation modules
- Administering the Tutors’ Page and other platforms supporting teaching
- Liaising with Pathway partners, organising and coordinating information events (Info Sessions)
- Maintaining contact with lecturers
- Supporting the preparation, organisation and delivery of programmes organised by the CER
- Carrying out administrative tasks relating to credit transfer
- Co-ordinating the organisation of examination supervision (invigilation)
- Assisting with the administrative support for accreditation processes
- Carrying out data management, reporting and documentation tasks
Requirements
- Master’s degree
- Confident command of English, at least at C1 level, both spoken and written
- Experience in higher education, educational organisation or educational administration
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility
The following would be an advantage
- Knowledge of the Moodle system
- Experience gained in an international higher education environment
- Proficiency in accreditation or quality assurance processes
