Join Us for a Special Anniversary Evening
This year marks a very special milestone for International Business School: IBS is celebrating its 35th anniversary!
Since its foundation in 1991, IBS has welcomed generations of students from around the world, creating an international community built on learning, new ideas, friendships and connections that often continue long after graduation.
On 18 September 2026, we are bringing the IBS community together at our Budapest Campus to celebrate these 35 years – and everyone who has been part of our story.
Held together with our traditional year-opening Garden Party, the 35th Anniversary Celebration will welcome current students, alumni, colleagues and partners for an evening of memories, new connections and, most importantly, celebrating together.
Programme for the Evening
The evening will include anniversary speeches and a number of special activities created for the occasion. Together, we will plant our 35th Anniversary Tree, where members of the IBS community will have the opportunity to leave a personal message and become part of this lasting memory of the anniversary.
Guests can also test how well they know IBS with our anniversary trivia, and contribute to the creation of a new IBS feature brick wall.
And, of course, an IBS celebration would not be complete without plenty of time to simply enjoy the evening together. Food trucks, drinks and music by our DJ will accompany the programme, creating a relaxed atmosphere to meet old friends, reconnect with former classmates and colleagues, and get to know new members of the IBS community.
For our alumni in particular, we hope this will be a chance to return to IBS, meet familiar faces and see how the community has grown over the years.
